The "coquette" and "balletcore" revival isn't just taking over fashion—it’s officially conquered the quilting world. Every runway, mood board, and viral social media feed is covered in ribbons and bows. But we aren’t just following the trend; as trendsetters, we are redefining it.
We are moving past temporary fast-fashion aesthetics and anchoring this ultra-feminine, nostalgic look into something tactile, timeless, and completely customizable.
Here is what you will need
(Please have your fabric cut and ready before class)
- 75 4" squares
- 1- 2" x 10" coordinating fabric
- batting that is cut to (2) 13" x 48", (2) 13" x 45" and (2) 3" x 11"
- velcro 1.5" x 1"
- Thread
- Scissor/rotary cutter
- pins or clips
- fabric marker
- 1 zip tie
- sewing machine in good working order
- walking foot for your machine
- 2 full bobbins
- 1 extra needle
******NOTE****** This class is during the famous and very well attended Art Festival. Plan appropriately for parking and walking a distance. The streets surrounding the shop will be blocked off. Machines can be dropped off Thursday and pick ups can be arranged with Amy when the road blockes are removed.
